🥈 Hungary – A place where history, wine and heroism unites by @digi-me

"The most famous of the local wines in Eger is called Egri Bikavér which means "Bulls Blood". It is said that this name derives from the Ottoman siege in 1552. At that time the warring men were cared for with good food and wine. The Turks belived that bulls blood was added to the wine. That is how they chose to explane why the Hungarians could fight so bravely. I do think that sounds like a sensible explanation. "

"From this, the Ultimate Tomato Fighting festival was formed as an expression of enthusiasm, joy and gratitude to nature and god. This agenda is also a way of giving thanks for the residents (farmers) of Cikareumbi (Lembang - West Java). Since that year, every year Cicareumbi village regularly holds a tUltimate Tomato Fighting which is not only attended by local residents, but also people from outside the region follow this agenda."
