🥇 Provence Region VI: Les Baux de Provence, France by
Les Baux de Provence is a small town located in the Alpilles mountains of the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur region of southern France. The town sits on a rocky outcropping overlooking a vast valley landscape to the south. Something cool about the village is that its built within the cliffs of the mountain and you can barely even see it when viewing it from only a short distance away. For instance, you may not have realized that there are buildings in the photograph above but if you look closely you can actually see them hidden amongst the rocks.

🥈 Finally, something good!, Bucharest, Rumania by
Our lives depend so much on the will of others. In many ways and areas. The will and decision of others, usually politicians and administrative decision-makers, can bring good, useful, and beautiful into our lives, but often the opposite happens. These decisions make the difference between different places in the world, in the way people live. I am referring now to cities, in some, it is a pleasure to live, and in others, obviously, if it is the opposite, it is not very good. The city I write about the most here is called Bucharest and is the capital of Romania. It is a troubled city, in which the different historical epochs have meant development and beauty or, on the contrary, destruction, neglect, and indifference.

🥉 Holidays in the Baltic States, Kunda, Estonia by
At the beginning of July, I took, with some friends, a ten-day trip around the Baltic countries. I had planned to write some text immediately when the experience was still fresh in my memory, but somehow, I didn't manage to do it. So, I'll try to put it together at least now and support it with some photos. Our glorious pilgrimage began on Wednesday 7 July 2021 when we set off from Prague in the direction of Vilnius. In case you didn't know, Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania. I didn't know it a month ago, but I guess that's what travel is for - to widen one's horizons. We stayed in Vilnius for two nights.
