Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's edition of the #TravelDigest. I was away for a few days last week and had a great time just being out and about. It's a lovely change as I've hardly been away from home for nearly a year. When I get round to do the write up I will be sure to share my trip. In meanwhile, enjoy today's Pinmapple curated posts!!

"I don't like to glorify war by any means. I'm strongly against it and feel that anything can be better resolved through civilized and diplomatic means. Nonetheless, I did have a sense of pride from my experience at the ridge; not from the battle itself but from the feeling of comraderie between nations and for the tribute to the soldiers who gave their lives during the war - the soldiers on all sides."

🥈 Paddle board from Mullumbimby to Brunswick Heads - Australia 🇦🇺 by @vcclothing

"Now the moment I got to the waters edge the realisation of what I'm about to go through just kicked in. It's winter and I'm going to try and paddle board 10km down a river. Sure I've got this... haha.I put the board into the water then jumped onto it with the finesse of a baby elephant taking its first steps. I was so wobbly on the board and was afraid to fall into the freezing cold water."

🥉 Panagsama, Moalboal - The best freediving spot in Cebu, Philippines! by @indayclara

"Anticipating the swarm of jellyfishes, we fully covered our bodies so that it won't bother us swimming. The side of the corals here were much more alive and colorful. Many different fishes and seawater creatures are found here. More turtles were swimming on this part of Panagsama. So it was a totally different experience."
