Introduction

Hi everyone @LivingUKTaiwan here with today's #TravelDigest. Did you catch the Hive pump earlier today? It's dropped back down a bit now, but things are still looking very good, definitely the way to go for the whole ecosystem. Hope it will encourage more, and new people to join/stay on the platform.

馃 My dear Carpathians. Impressions of one trip (EN-UA) by lilideleopolis@lilideleopolis

"Mountains... They are always beautiful! I love the high rocks covered with eternal snow, and the smooth outlines of low mountains, overgrown with forest or alpine meadows. In the western part of my country (ie Ukraine) there are the Carpathians. There these mountains are not high, about 1500-2000 m. The highest mountain Hoverla has a height of 2061 m. If you are a resident of a mountainous country, you will say that it is quite small. Nevertheless, the Carpathians are very beautiful due to dense forests, lush grasses and cold rivers."

馃 Traverse of three peaks on the Zarkent-Sukok ridge, Tashkent region, Uzbekistan by damm-steemit@damm-steemit

"It was easier to climb to the first peak. Yes, in some places we fell into the knee-deep snow, but in general it was not very difficult to walk on a strong crust. But then everything changed - there was much more snow - up to mid-thigh, and in some places even up to the waist. My trekking stick sank almost entirely into the snow. And its length was about 130-140 cm."

馃 Travel Digest #52 San Clemente State Beach by shoemanchu@shoemanchu

"The first stop was a beach location that was right next to the Coaster, aka the train tracks. On the San Clemente State Beach, right next to the Calafia Beach Park. This place was amazing and it reminded me of the Annie's Hiking Trail in Del Mar California, if you remember my post from a few months back, it was kind of the same type area of water eroding the earth to form some beautiful small trails.
