Hello everyone! This is @ybanezkim26, presenting this Sunday edition of #TravelDigest. I really enjoyed reading today's selection. We have a cruise in the Arabian Fjords, an experience swimming with crocodiles in Australia, and a church and canyon excursion in Macedonia. Enjoy!
The incredibly beautiful Oman Fjords sits in Khasab, an isolated port city in Oman along the borders of the United Arab Emirates. This exclave is perched right at the tip of Musandam Peninsular overlooking the Strait of Hormuz, thus separated from the rest of Oman. It is often referred to as The Norway of Arabia, due to its spectacularly unspoiled mountainscape and rugged inlets of clear azure waters. It is a warmer version of course which is perfect for snorkeling and dolphin watching.

They call it the Cage of Death. Which the name is a bit misleading as it's not a cage and no one has actually died....The tube is made out of acrylic which is 4cm thick and about 3 meters high. The tube is attached to a runner that spands over the four enclosures. Which lowers you and your friend into the enclosure with the crocodile's.

This is from our trip to Macedonia, back in February, 2020. Even though it’s just almost a year ago, it seems like a distant past; because of how corona virus shifted our conception of time… The corona virus was at its beginning at that time. There was zero case in Macedonia; and I believe there were just a few cases in Europe. So we still had our faces exposed, free from masks; and we had no problem with travelling… Aren’t we all missed those times?.. Anyways, about the trip…
