  • Commit yourself to your school or work.

  • Make a list of the things you want to accomplish. Have a checklist.

  • Realize what you want in life.

  • Determine your mission or purpose.

  • Pay attention to what you are doing.

  • If you are committed and determined in achieving your goals, for example in school, do not get involved in a relationship.

  • Do not go out to hang out with your friends and party when you are supposed to be studying or you have work the following day.

  • Avoid watching TV at the same time as doing your task.

  • Do not browse on your phone while studying or working.

  • Learn to say no. If your hands are full or you have something important to do, let them know that you can’t do what they are asking you to do.

  • Avoid distractions.

  • Have a schedule for everything. E.g., set up the things you want to accomplish from Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday, this is your free day.

  • Have a blackboard or whiteboard where you write your goals and your achievements.

  • Display your medals and trophies, this will remind you that you are doing great and everything that you do is effective and productive.

  • Surround yourself with people who have the same goals as yourself.

  • Have a routine. Repetition turns into a habit.
