The weather today is so perfect because it is my favorite moment. I love the wind, the rain, and the coldness that keeps me comfortable, calm, and relaxed.
Once again, it is Wednesday, and it is a fantastic day to share my #WednesdayWalk by tattoodjay and #HiveBloPoMo or Hive Blog Posting Month Challenge with the dairy cattle when I visited a farm during its Farm Fest.
When I heard about the Farm Fest in a neighboring place, I went home early to attend a meaningful event I had never tried when I was younger. I have seen cows on the farm even before but not dairy cattle.
I admit that the Farm Fest was a perfect opportunity for me to experience it, although I am not a little child anymore who always dreamed of seeing natural dairy cattle.
When I arrived, I was greeted by happy faces who were also dressed nicely in farm costumes in a blend of stripes, cowboy hats, and boots. There was an admission fee to support a cause, and the organizers expected everyone to wear farm costumes.
So here I am in my red checkered dress with a blend of black stripes, a cowboy hat, and my black boots. And I felt like a cowgirl as my student braided my hair.
The Farm Fest was exciting, and I was thrilled to see so many kids and their parents in attendance. I was amazed by the charming kids who wore cowboy and cowgirl outfits with captivating and adorable faces.
And that the dairy cattle were on display near the entrance. Upon arriving, I had already seen many children who were very excited to take pictures of the cows together with their families.
Aside from the cattle exhibit during the farm fest, they were also available for purchase. They were pricey, though, but I believe they were so worth it to buy being farm animals to whoever is interested in buying them
It was so fascinating to see the cattle up close in person, and I was amazed by their size and cuteness.
I enjoyed interacting with the cows. I took photos and enjoyed the farm-themed festivities while walking in the area.
The cattle were roan, and then suddenly, I remembered my lesson last quarter about codominance in cattle. I love to bring my students here for exhibits, but in my institution, field trips are not allowed for safety reasons.

Meanwhile, I tried to get grass on the feeding container. I was trying to feed the cattle. And I was surprised to find that they were eating happily with the grass that I offered them while I was outside the wooden cage. I then captured the moment, and I considered it a highlight of my day.
Aside from a fun farm experience, the atmosphere was engaging as I saw the kids enjoying playing with the cattle. The farm owners had done a great job creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for everyone as they offered various amusement.
There were also games, activities, and food stalls that offered a theme about the farms, and I was caught up timely in a blink with a fun-filled experience.
Perhaps my Wednesday Walk With The Dairy Cattle was indeed a memorable Farm Fest experience, and it was worth it. Finally, I was able to see real milking cows, and I am feeling grateful for the opportunity to experience another priceless moment.
