I left the safe house on a new day to visit the sheriff and check in on the town hall. Along the way, I navigated high level zones, fought through groups of infected, and successfully restored power to both the Asylum Island Tower and the Camping Tower in Caster Woods.
It was a brand new day, and my primary objective was to leave the safe house behind, make my way over to talk to the local sheriff, and check in with the folks at the town hall to see how they were holding up.
However, before heading directly to the town hall, I wanted to stop by a camping tower that I had failed to restore power to during my previous trip.
I was currently positioned in a high level area that I carefully climbed down leading away from the safe house tower and swam across the water back to the small island.
I passed the exact spot where I fought the chimera earlier, and its body was still lying right where it fell. Since I had no further business on that island, I turned around to swam back toward the mainland.
Coming out of that high level area did not mean I was entirely out of danger. There were still plenty of infected roaming around the territory, waiting for any chance to attack. I kept on running straight toward the tower where I had managed to drop down a ladder during my last attempt.
As I approached, I realized this was actually a different tower located within the high level zone, rather than the original one I had set out to find. I decided to see if I could climb up and restore it anyway.
I jumped onto the lower framework and found myself hanging above the ground while more than half a dozen infected gathered below, reaching up and trying hard to grab me.
I made sure to stay out of their reach as I navigated around the metal frame. I located the ladder I had dropped down previously, which allowed me to climb up the lower section with ease.
The climb started out simple enough, but the higher structural path quickly became risky. I was not completely sure if I could land the jump across to a nearby pole, but I decided to test my luck. The jump connected, and I grabbed hold of the pole safely.
From there, I swung off the pole and caught the edge of the upper platform perfectly. Once I hauled myself onto the top of the tower, I restored the power. The system came back online, registering the location as the Asylum Island Tower safe spot.
Since it was only nine in the morning, there was no need for me to rest or wait around for daylight. I immediately started my descent down the ladders to keep moving.
I tracked back to my original destination in Caster Woods, which happened to be the very first tower I had ever climbed. Back then, I did not realize I needed to flip the power switch to fully secure the location.
Thanks to the ladder I had dropped on my previous visit, getting back to the top was fast and simple. I walked up to the power panel, flipped the switch, and successfully restored power to the Camping Tower, securing another safe spot for the journey ahead.
I'll show what happens next later.
I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.
This is Pikachuuuuu signing off. Over and out.
