I traveled high above the ground by sliding along power lines to avoid obstacles and threats. Using binoculars, I spotted an area crawling with infected enemies. Nearby, I located a gas station and a ranger truck, and I turned on the power to restore a high safe spot where I could rest.
I really liked the option of traveling high above the ground. Sliding along the electric wires felt fast and safe, so I started using them to explore the area.
I took risky jumps from one line to another, keeping myself above obstacles and out of reach. I hoped even volatile enemies would not be able to get me at this height.
Using my binoculars, I checked the surrounding area for threats. The whole location below was crawling with infected enemies, making direct travel on foot far too dangerous.
Across the way, I saw a gas station with a ranger truck parked nearby that I could use. It was clear that this region carried a higher threat level, but I was getting used to navigating around by wire sliding.
I found a tower that seemed suitable for a safe house. I reached the structure, turned on the power, and restored the gas station voltage pole safe spot.
From up there, I heard loud noises coming from the infected on the ground level below. Since there were no more connected wires to carry me to the next tower, my wire sliding journey came to an end for now. I found a bed on top of the tower, giving me a safe place to rest overnight.
