I quickly sought shelter before nightfall, successfully climbing the tall tower to establish a secure safe house. After neutralizing an active infected and restoring the building's power, I survived the night until a peaceful morning arrived.
I knew I needed to do this peacefully. The night was rapidly approaching, which meant I had to reach a secure shelter as fast as humanly possible.
Fortunately, I finally managed to climb up there and find a safe spot. I knew I could at least stay safe for a brief moment, even though it was already 7 PM.
My hand device suddenly alerted me to the shifting conditions outside. I realized I was stuck again, unsure of how to get any higher up the structure from my current position.
I decided to try my absolute best. The only viable way to get higher on the tower was to reach a specific ledge, but it looked entirely too far out of my reach. I decided to try it anyway and surprisingly made the leap.
I actually did it, which was a relief since I did not think it would be that easy. However, the path ahead looked incredibly risky, and I definitely did not want to fall after coming all this way. If I fell down from this height, I knew I would die.
I then noticed something up ahead and hoped it was not an active infected. To be completely safe, I immediately shot it with a crossbow bolt instead of taking unnecessary chances. My suspicions were correct, as it was definitely an active infected that seemed to be the former occupant of the place.
With the threat gone, I dropped down some nearby ladders so they would be helpful for me to get back up here the next time.
Following that, I successfully restored power to the tower, hoping the electrical systems were fully working after my intervention.
Before heading to bed, I decided to mess around with some volatiles that were wandering around. Since the area was officially a safe house now, I could no longer use my weapons, making it a bit sad that I could not play around with them normally.
Still, I chose to take my chances and used my UV flashlight to burn the creatures up from safety. I even climbed down a little bit to mess with the volatiles further, hoping they would not be able to jump or climb up to my position.
Once I finished playing with them, I safely returned to the safe house area to rest. I used the bed to wait until morning, taking full advantage of the sleeping feature I was given.
When I woke up the next morning, it was 8 AM, and the sun was beautifully rising over the horizon, creating a stunning sunrise view from the top of the tower.
I'll show what happens next later.
I personally took all the screenshots from my play and I used a logo of the game from online to use in the thumbnail.
This is Pikachuuuuu signing off. Over and out.
