I must admit, I am completely reliant on convenience stores. Not just in Asia but pretty much everywhere in the world.
7 Eleven is a special one though, because they don't have them where I live anymore. Sadly, they went out of business in the UK and despite the poor business there, they are thriving in many Adrian markets, especially Taiwan.
Standing at a cross section of two roads, I can make out 3 stores within 50 paces walk of each other. What's more, they're open 24/7 and sell almost everything you would need on a day to day basis.
