It seems they took this straight out of the 2014 Chinese Communist playbook used for organ harvesting in china, its truly terrifying how quick technology implanted inside of our body can be used to manipulate our surroundings.
I got better performance today by removing my underclocked value of 2% on my VEGA 64. It usually thermal throttles but Cyberpunk runs really cool on it which is a pleasant surprise to see from the HBM2 Memory type in the VEGA. I am actually excited to see what becomes of High Bandwidth Memory Controllers used in GPU's, it would be very cool to get to the point we could store frames on the hard drive before they appear on screen so the GPU physical state could be independent from the operating system. But for now the GPU spits out of the frames, I had a cool fantasy about the future of GPU's playing this game with HBMII memory. There is also the HBCC memory segment that caches data on my hard drive already, it has allowed for me to max out all the shadows and post rendering style animations for a total GPU memory size of 24GB before the 8GB on card and 16GB synthetic HDD reserved space. I would not do this without a SSD or at least good hyperthreading.
This is all to overcome the bottleneck of my AMD FX-4300 series card that is overclocked to 4.55Ghz, anyone have a better air cooled option for a FX-4300? Ill tip for a tuning that improves my CPU bottlenecking. The 50 FPS range was attainable so I am very close to getting a solid 40+ like anticipated, the hotfix 1.04 helped with a margin of 3 to 4 FPS already on average when I look at the bottom corner.
GOG has a frame rate tool ctrl+shift+tab will show FPS in the bottom right corner.
