Hi Folks!
Today something more abstract but still taken straight from nature.
Surface of old, dried out tree trunk - not sure about the species of this one. I found this big piece of driftwood on the sandy beach near Mikoszewo on Mierzeja Wiślana on the Polish coast of Baltic Sea.
I am not sure how these abstract form was created. If they are some kind of wood disease or this is the natural way of how this tree was grow. In final - the surface of the wood was covered by tiny spikes which change colors during the time period. I am just amazed by this form of wood.
So many details, I tried to use my regular lens to capture the beauty of these structures which reminds me some kind of desert landscape, with strange rocks and other geological formations.
Maybe someone knows what they are or what kind of tree species growing such interesting wooden structures - Let me know :).
Cheers!
