Lemon water, the stuff taste rather nice, and you can almost feel the stuff doing good things inside you. I never really researched Lemons allot. So I figured this might be a good opportunity to dig into it a bit. I know when I did drink Lemon water I tried my best to stick to using "organic" Lemon juice. The typical stuff had some kind of sulfite in it that I wasn't sure about. I figured, if you're trying to be healthy what is the sense in taking impurities?
Going by this web link here --> https://www.healwithfood.org/where-to-buy/organic-lemon-juice-free-of-sulfites.php
Sulfites are added to many things in order to prevent browning and to preserve things. But it's not the healthiest thing going. Turns out sulfites can provoke some bad reactions from the body. Which is why I'd go with squeezing whole lemons or using organic lemon juice. Lemon juice is so acidic I don't think it would ever have problem preserving itself anyways. That is my suspicion at least. Taking something that is pure and good and adding shit to it, doesn't make sense to me.

Turns out this delightful, bright yellow, cheerful fruit has allot of things going for it.
-It offers potassium
-If offers Vitamin C and other antioxidants
-As acidic as it is, it helps the body get rid of unwanted acids. Must be to do with how the body
breaks it down. Once it finds it way into the blood it has an alkalizing effect
-It's pectin fiber aids digestion and cleans and helps to cleans the digestion track
Just to name a few
No reason not to drink it, it does good things and helps. Not sure if it would be as good as say Bio Steel in terms of keeping electrolytes balanced, but certainly it would do better than water alone.
Where do Lemons come from?
Here is a snippet from the google search:
"They are thought to have originated in north-western India. It is known that lemons were introduced to southern Italy around 200 AD and have been cultivated in Egypt and Iran since 700 AD. Arabs spread lemons throughout the Mediterranean area during the early 2nd century."

Have a look at some Lemon trees. How they look at the origins. Simply delightful. If you live in a location that support lemon trees, and you're into growing your own, this guy might have a tip or two for you. Beautiful thing, he takes care of the tree, and it takes care of him. Note all the soil inputs Lemon trees like. All those trace mineral soil inputs end up inside the Lemon.
Here is another video from the same You Tube channel as above. If you got the right climate but not allot of space to work with, Lemon growing could still be a possibility for you -->
And I'm finding out Lemons can be preserved. And they are sometimes used to preserve other foods.
And I guess there is a variety of Lemon tree that will tolerate down to -9 degree Celsius. For a guy from Canada -9 is amusing. LoL, try like -40 degree Celsius. The fur trees barely take it LOL. It get's so cold her all atomic activity literally halts, car doors, trees, buildings, they all shatter with any amount of vibration. :)

Lemonade has been the drink of coping with heat and labor for a long time. Mind you adding processed sugar isn't exactly the most healthy thing to do. Lemonade is worth mentioning because of it's historical popularity. Every person around has heard of the classic Lemonade stand.

If you don't already know, wikipedia is always looking for financial support. I've made a few donations because I find them quite handy when it comes to any sort of detailed information. I think being funded by public donations keeps their information unbiased and free of special interest corruption.

If there is any doubt in your mind Lemons are loaded with electrolytes, the guy in the next video uses Lemons to power an L.E.D. Video Provided by You Tube Channel (MonkeySee) --> Not sure how many you would need to power a TV remote.
This guy shows us how to preserve Lemon in salt. Perhaps if you wanted to make a stock pile that wouldn't go bad. He uses his preserved Lemon's for cooking. Video Provided by You Tube Channel (Kitchen & Craft) -->
This recipe looks quite nice, he blended lemon slices with ginger slices and coat them all in honey in a jar. You draw out of the jar later on and add warm/hot-ish water. He says not too hot because we don't want to destroy the nutrition. Ginger is another good-er I've heard about, I might have to do a separate post for it. Video provided by You Tube Channel (Homemadewithlove NZ) --> I suspect this would taste and smell very nice.
These days a body needs all the protection and support it can get. Lemons give allot for their low cost. Stay healthy out there. Thank you for reading, I hope you found this educational and helpful.
