Nature travel is an alternate interpretation of having time off and free from stresses in our busy work life. It isn't just about being a traveler. It gives you some opportunity to appreciate the serene nature around us. It provides you with a valuable chance to clear your head and mull over your next plans throughout your everyday life.
I'm lucky enough to be living near a nature reserve in which I can freely explore anytime on any day. I have this opportunity to practice my photography while finding interesting subjects along the way.
One of my favorite photography styles is shooting macro. Full-scale photography is outrageous close-up photography, mainly for little subjects and living organic creatures like creepy crawlies. The subjects of this size have interesting details when seen up-close. I just wish that I have a proper lens that is dedicated to this style so that I could really zoom in close enough that I can show the extreme details of the insect.
For now, I'm already happy to document these creatures for my journal.
For this insect, I'm fascinated by the specks on the skin of this insect.
There is an interesting study that shows that spending time in nature gives us a sense of security. It is a cure for pressure and it can bring down our levels of stress, decrease uneasiness, and improve mood.
That's one of the reasons why I go for a walk close to nature whenever I feel down or stressed. It helps me get through the day and feel better after the walk and while editing the photos that I took.
