Yes, I know about Tenerife, we both spent some time over there. Spectacular place. But are you sure we are talking about the same city of Playa del Carmen? The one I mean is located in Mexico and its population now is more than 300,000. But yes, it was a little fishing village not so long ago, just like nearby Tulum or even Cancun that now has almost 1 million inhabitants. The pace of development in this part of Mexico is just incredible.
