Well, it doesn´t serve right to you, me and other environmentally-aware, nature-respecting people but the fact is that the most people on Earth still don´t care so as a species, as a mankind, we are being punished rightfully. Unfortunately.

You are probably right about the fires. Many of them (if not most) have been set by individuals, whether intentionally or not, but the other extreme phenomena like those deadly heats, droughts, floods, hurricanes etc. have mostly been a product of "team effort" if you will with the "team" being all of us.
