Hai Steem fam! I am here to tell you about the EXCITING THING I got yesterday!
Last year I turned 40 years old (my birthday is in August, so I'm almost 41 now, lol). My mother said for my birthday, she wanted to get me a bed. I haven't had a real bed in years. I've been sleeping on a massage table, or a broken couch, or my papasan.

So since I FINALLY got enough work done on The Great Purging Project that had taken over the bedroom (you gotta make a mess to purge well, ask Marie Kondo!) to make space for a bed again, we went this past weekend to the furniture store. And my bed was delivered on Tuesday!

I slept on it for the first time last night. It is so comfy, but ironically I think my body is going to have to get used to a nice big bed that is soft, as I'm a bit stiff this morning, lol. But I DID sleep 9+ hours or so! The night before, I only slept 5 1/2. So I caught up a bit, too. ;)

No renegade springs that draw blood!
No broken springs that cause my hips to sink down!
...all of which had happened to the previous bed before I threw it out, lol.
It's also the BIGGEST bed I've ever had (I've only had two real beds before this), as it is full size. I had twins before (and massage tables are even smaller, lol).

Maggie hasn't been on it yet, but I need to arrange the rest of the room now and put a chair next to the bed to be a springboard for her. It's too high for her jump liking, I think - she is 15 years old, after all! But she also takes time to get used to new things.
This is how she has been waking me up lately when I've slept in the papasan, and now the bed, in the bedroom: hang out at the door and meow. Maggie requires brekkies!
So I'm all happy about my new awesome bed. :) I feel absolutely luxurious in it!
