I commented before I went to see what post it was, so I thought it was one of those, sorry. LOL. I bought an INCOME, though! :)
I was very disheartened by how I thought it worked based on other people's explanations, but it seems I didn't quite grasp it correctly. I still don't think the outcome is great - people's upvotes are worth less unless the post gets above a certain threshold - but it's better than I thought it was (that they would get dinged after the fact if the post didn't hit the threshold). So at least what you're seeing is what you're getting and has the potential to get better, rather than the potential to get worse (barring price drops, which has always been the case). People seem to be happy that trending is better and that downvotes are happening on certain posts, but that to me is a bit like saying "the economy is good if the stock market is good." Maybe that's good news if you're rich enough to have large investments, but to the people trying to scrape together rent money, it's irrelevant.
