Paksiw na Pata

Hello steemians.. I just wanna share my today's Daily Food Photography.

Paksiw na pata is another version of our soy-based Filipino stews but in this dish we are using pork shanks, brown sugar is added at near end of cooking to sweeten the sauce. Although this can easily be a one-step process with all the ingredients thrown together until done. For me i let it simmer for an hour so that the meat will be tender.
