This food is popular in eastern visayas. Binagol is a sweet and delicious delicacy that originated in Leyte. It offers a sticky and sweet taste to the pallet and it is covered with unique leaf packaging. Binagol originally came from the word “bagol”, a Visayan language that means coconut shell.
