uberpro symbol.jpegThe freelancing sector is one steadily growing sector which was accounted to have about 55 million members in America alone, how much more the whole world. Tracing it down to financial figures, the 55 million freelancers earned a total of over one trillion dollars in 2016 which sums up the reason why it experienced a 45% increase over that year.
The whole essence of that quick exposure is that, even most career experts would reckon with the freelancing sector because it is a very viable option. It is only natural that people see the potential in this sector just like UBERPRO has equally seen. Uberpro understands that most freelancing is done online and is provided by centralized bodies and organization, it is safe to say power has been centralized too in the hands of those bodies and with centralization of power comes schemes to exploit which is clearly what those platforms have opted for. Uberpro has got just the perfect antidote to neutralize the venom by attacking majorly two chief points in the sector:
• The Centralization
• The payment system
Based on intuition, it is just right that if this two points can be hijacked and honed from the centralized powers, freelancing would be a step closer to the future. But, intuition doesn’t do the trick which is why uberpro has backed it with a blueprint which I would try to summarize efficiently below:
uberpro api.png
Defeating centralization, Uberpro has employed the use of Ethereum blockchain and smart contract as a distributed ledger that can carry out activities programmed for it to do. With this blockchain the work of middlemen whom are the actual centralized powers as I choose to call them is totally eliminated because the blockchain has been established to perform their roles through the help of smart contracts.
Defeating further the payment system, we know fully well that the plan of the centralized powers is to exploit and they have managed to cloth the agenda in a cloud of diverse fees and charges paid for enjoying freelancing services on their platforms coupled with the high fee cost of making payment in fiat. It is just so exacerbating how these fees aggravate and does more harm than good. But with the introduction of cryptocurrency with the most minimal transfer fees, it is so easy to bypass all form of discrepancies when it comes to charged fees. The currency to be adopted by Uberpro is their official token known as “UBER”. Although, for the benefit of all, fiat would later e accepted for those who don’t have the know-how of the crypto system. On Uberpro, Uber would be needed to purchase freelancing services as a client and the freelancing services is would not be bordered as it will span all facet of the service industry.
