Buying stocks from a wallet still feels weird. Most of the time it means bridging somewhere, dealing with KYC you already did once, or trusting some wrapper that says “backed by” without showing you the actual thing sitting in a vault.
Astock tries to cut that part short. You send USDC on Arc, you get aNVDA (or aTSLA, aAAPL, whatever) in the same wallet a minute later. Behind it is the real tokenized stock bought on Robinhood Chain and parked in a reserve that the site reads live from both chains every 20 seconds. You can check the numbers yourself. No second network, no brokerage account needed for the buy.
The fee is 0.25% each way. Nothing while you hold it. Orders are small for now (up to 1,000 USDC), which keeps the pools from getting pushed around. There are about 29 stocks available, mostly the ones with deeper liquidity on the other side. Once the token is in your wallet it’s a normal ERC-20, so anything else on Arc can use it without caring that the underlying lives on Robinhood Chain.
They also pay holders of their own token in actual stock. A chunk of the trading fees on $ASTOCK gets turned into the stocks people picked (or a random one that round) and sent straight to wallets. No claim button. They’ve done a couple hundred of those rounds so far. It’s not huge money yet, but the mechanism is already running and the payouts show up on-chain.
The site itself is simple. Dark mode, works on a phone, four languages. They just finished a hub upgrade so it can handle both the current Robinhood-backed stocks and the newer xStocks when those land on Arc. Cross-chain launches (Solana tokens that pay stock rewards on Arc) are in testing too.
I like that the reserves are public and refresh while you’re looking at the page. A lot of these setups ask you to trust the docs. Here the numbers are right there. Whether the whole thing stays small or grows depends on whether people actually want stock exposure inside crypto apps instead of just more stablecoins and meme pairs. For now it’s one of the cleaner ways I’ve seen to get a slice of NVDA or SPY without leaving Arc.
Site is at astock.fi if you want to poke around the reserves or the how-it-works section. They’re still adding stocks as liquidity shows up.
