Who would not be worried when your child suddenly showed you an oximeter with borderline oxygen level, and the next thing you found out that your child is infected by covid?

Yes, even with our son who is already a father himself, is still our precious baby; for a parent, even we could only silently watch and encourage our son things are going to be okay, our heart can never be settled until we know he is all right.
It was a 1 week battle of prayers and worries for us when we found out about the news. Good thing our daughter littlenewthings@littlenewthings sprung into action immediately the moment she received her brother's message.
Even with she had to pay in credit first hand, she did what she remembered, scrambling all the necessary medical parcels together just to be sure she got her brother's back.

We are grateful that our daughter-in-law who had friends around to get other essentials for our son, preparing their guest room for him to be isolated.

But what a battle he had to go through!

Unlike our experience with the delta variant, after Rene's purging and vomitting at day one last year, we were just out of breath most of the time and feeling tired and lathargic.
Our son had milder symptoms with sorethroat, but his heart was constantly elevated above 100 beats causing him to unable to sleep.
We understood that the best remedy battling covid was rest; but getting over 100 pulse rate was not good. Our son also had consistent high fever, despite he was already fully vaccinated and boosted.

We were so worried!

We are so grateful that our church were praying for our son together; and after 1 week of battling off high fever and elevated heart rate, our son finally sees the rainbow after the storm!
God is good even when we have rough seasons. Our worried hearts for our children will always be there, just like our Heavenly Father looks out for us, surely HE is worried of our decisions, despite HE allows us to make our own journey.
We now know that HE will always ever ready to hear our cries to HIM, when we choose to lift our heads up to call HIS Holy Name.
Regards,
Philip and Rene
