The Ethereum project has become an entire clusterfuck. I invested a few dollars in it because it could advance the cause of blockchain technology, nothing i could not loose. Blockchain technology in general is complicated but Ethereum made it an order of magnitude more complex than it needs to be. Instead of coming out with a simple proof of concept and building on that, they created a super complicated pyramid that was doomed to fail. They build the roof before they had walls. On top of this there were just too many hands in the cookie jar. There was no way anybody could keep track of what was going on.
Now i beleive they had good intentions in the beginning buy when all that money poured it it changed the project. Instead of being a demonstration of power of this new technology, it became money grab.
The Ethereum project will be another textbook case how peoples egos and greed can destroy the best of intentions.
