The waste will be recycled through a pyrolysis reactor originally used to produce Syngas - a mixture of carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the industry. Syngas is a source of methanol, hydrogen and other chemicals and is used to generate heat and electricity through gas turbine generators and piston gas generators.

Furthermore, it is used to produce expanded glass, an ecological material used for the insulation of residential buildings and industrial companies. Due to the small number of expanded glass producers, there is a strong demand for this material.

Recycling will not be exposed to oxygen at temperatures up to 1300 ° C. The thermal energy generated by the synthetic gas will provide energy to the industrial complex of 20 hectares, producing up to 12,000 tons of cucumbers, tomatoes and other vegetables. It should be noted that the demand for these raw materials in the capital of Kazakhstan amounts to 120,000 tons per year, which means that the new greenhouse will represent 10% of the market.

In February, Greentoken successfully tested the reactor prototype in the Unger laboratory in Germany. Reactors do not explode because the recycling process enters atmospheric pressure. Furthermore, waste is treated without contact with the external environment.
