Depth Perception, an Experimental Screen Dance Film by Petra Haller

This is a short film I have created for Empire Strikes Back. "ESB" is a project by Louder than Words, http://www.ltwltd.com/

I used Tap dance to create the sound and filmed on an iPhone 11 Pro

We spent a month together in October 2020, both at in-person events and on zoom and learned about late MC TY's creative principles and how to apply them to our own artworks.

My film Depth perception is created via layers of sound, which is me tapdancing, recording, and manipulating the sounds and three layers of film and aims to represent the layers and depth different cultures and peoples bring to our society.
