So here I am at work on Saturday morning. Not that I mind, get my paperwork up to date and keep an eye on my staff and after all it's only till 12:00 pm, four hours isn't so bad. I have David Gilmour to keep me company.
Profound these lyrics are they not? Makes me think on so many pieces written and ranted on about community and uplifting each other or will more and more end up on the turning away. Is it just easier for some to ignore the hardship of others? I always protect and care for those closest to me first, but can't help feel a need to jump in and help someone else, especially when I can see they are trying and no one will lend a hand.
Is it wrong of me to be less inclined to want to help those who just seem unwilling to help themselves? Those who demand and if no one listens they take what they want regardless of what it takes and trust me, it happens, I see it often.
