I think that democracy and the economy would be better served if the government issued a daily allocation of bitcoin to all citizens, and rather than collecting taxes from all citizens, those citizens should be able to transmit those bitcoins directly to the government projects that they feel are most worthy. That is a better way to get money supply into the economy rather than have the Federal Reserve create money, manipulate interest rate, and then lend it back to the government. That would also support direct democracy. Income taxes and the Federal Reserve should be abolished. Citizens should not have to pay taxes out of their own earnings.
