Steemjet Orphanage Outreach

Happy wednesday everyone, how are you doing?. For those with their teams at the World Cup you will agree with me that this year's competition is like uncertainty theorem. If you doubt me, ask @blocktrades and @anomadsoul how the predictions are going lol.

Away from the world cup, today was for steemjet. Steemjet is a platform aimed at preaching the Steem world around the globe also getting the kids ready for the future.

So last month a group of SF members sat and pondered... "who were those kids that need this steem gospel more?" and we came to conclusion they were those in need... The orphanage. Ofcourse they need it more than other kids cos to some they were totally abandoned by their parents while others were left at that state because of an uncontrollable situation... One like death.

Orphanage home situated at Anua was the venue. It's handled by a Catholic foundation. Getting to the venue we were warmly received by the sister in charge and we were set to go.

These kids are brilliant indeed. The only thing left for them to conquer their fears are data's and some tablets, believe me they will outshine your expectations. We started off with prayers and then went straight to introduction.

Everyone were curious about the shirts and couldn't get their hands off the steemjet polo. "uncle we love it... Uncle we love it!"

@empato started off with explaining the meaning of steem, crypto currency and steemit to the kids. The little ones were lost while the elderly followed keenly. The only thing left after "the money man's" lecture was practical which uncontrollably they don't have to start things off.

To cheer the kids up and ease the first steem lectures I quickly hopped in and introduce myself as "uncle gift" lol but of what use is uncle gift without a gift so quickly I got something to share with the kids.

we had to give writing materials so they could jot down points and use them for future reference.

In my mind they were kids so I wanted doing a Lil game before anyone got the gift so mathematics was it.... Multiple of numbers. 22 I got 4 as a reply before I even finished. 63 I got 18 lol. Everyone were getting my gifts n making me feel backwards so it dawned on me I needed to augment... I'm an engineer lol.

Okay "3(2*2^-³) - 5 .... The one with the answer gets the next gift. And everywhere was quiet..... Good lol. Well the kids were all smiles as I finally shared for everyone and everyone was happy.

After we were done, the sister and caretaker thanked steemjet for reaching out to the orphanage and prayed for us and the success of SteemJet.

Well like they say... "God blesses you to be a blessing to others". That's what the boss @dimimp is doing. That's what steemjet was created for... For the broke people whom steem can help them grow and achieve their potentials. That's what the outreach was all about........ Putting smiles on faces and also empowering them through Steem.
