Life is often taken too seriously. Every little mistake we make turns into a big deal.
-Come in late for work cause of traffic? You lying sinner!
-Forget to put the milk back in the fridge? My gosh, what a disaster!
-Trip and fall face-down in front of your crush? Well...you might as well just die!
We all face similar scenarios every day, and society encourages us to take everything seriously. To beat ourselves up over the dumbest things.
Fun and humour is an emotion that, no matter our age, cultural or where we come from, we all experience it.
It's such a gift that can lift up the soul, and actually does wonders to the body (check our Norman Cousins' story).
It doesn't take much, we don't even have to listen to a comedian to get the chuckles. All we have to do is look around us.
We'll always find something silly going on in our lives.
-It could be something silly our pet is doing.
-A neighbor yelling at someone about something stupid
-You might even step back and realize you're sitting at your desk reading some articles...in your underwear. (That last one may or may not be me occasionally).
In any case, we all have different things that make us crack and preferences when it comes to funny, but laughter is universal.

Noticed this while waiting at a pretzel stand in Germany. I just burst our laughing...don't really know why, it was just so silly. Looks like he's spitting on his food.
Some of you may not find it amusing, but that's the beauty of humour, it's subjective, full of varieties and styles, but not monochrome.
Stay funny!
