The holy bible never tells Christians to celebrate Easter every year, but this is a celebration used to remember the passion of Jesus Christ while he was still on earth. However, it clearly teaches the central event that Easter represents the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The resurrection is a foundational truth of the Christian faith, showing victory over sin and death and giving believers hope of eternal life. Early Christians focused more on remembering Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection through teachings, fellowship, and practices like the Lord’s Supper rather than observing a specific annual celebration.
Even though Easter as a named celebration developed later in church history, its message is deeply biblical. The bible encourages Christians to always reflect on the teachings of Jesus Christ everyday and not once in a while.
