There is difference between a Christian and a Powerful Christians. It is clear that a Christian is someone who portrays everything about Christ.
A Christian and Powerful Christian is always seen going to Church but what makes it different? It is simply the power that one carries than the other.
A powerful Christians is someone who by all ways study and have more knowledge about Christ deeply while a Christian (ordinary) is just an empty one because he is just carrying the name for nothing without getting to know Jesus.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:21 that,
Not everyone that saith unto me,Lord,Lord,shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Here we have seen the true difference. Both a Christian and a powerful one will always call the name of Jesus but one will receive Him than the other. Jesus doesn't answer just anybody but someone who does the will of His Father.
When a Christian loses his power,how does he regain it back? Or how does one with the power of God still remain powerful? I will be explaining this to your understanding.
There is no smoke without a fire. When there is a smoke in a fire,the best thing for you to ask WHY it is so?. The same thing applies to someone who loses his power,you must go back to your source and ask WHY so that you can regain it back. Also someone with the power can also still remain and retain the power he is given.
Power could be lost through:
Ephesians 4:14 says,
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro,and carried about with every wind of doctrine,by the sleight of men,and cunny craftiness,whereby they lie in wait to deceive.
This passage simply illustrates thus; as a powerful Christian,you must not be like a child been taken from one church to another seeking for the best. Some Christians now take some images to serve rather than serving God. They took this as their doctrine. Example of such is the popular man along Ibadan/Expressway called SATGURU MARAHAJI who calls himself God and they start worshipping him rather serving their most high God. They took this a doctrine, following the steps of the children of Israelites that took images and form it to a god worshipping this. (Exodus 32). God was angry with them. So likewise those that has taken another doctrine
use in the house of God, will lose their power given to them.
HOW CAN YOU REMAIN IN THE POWER OF GOD?
You must restitute your ways. If you have backslided by false doctrine or done something that is against God, the best thing to do is to amend your ways and go back to your source which is God. Ask Him to help you regain the power back and let Him know you are fully ready for His work.
Obtain oil afresh. Immediately power is retrieved from you,the anointing in you gets dry but when you have concluded in your mind to amend your ways,then ask God to fill you with His anointing, because without it,power cannot flow in you to do signs and miracles.
You have to stand boldly till you become so powerful as before and partake of His nature once again.
1John 4:17,
Herein is our love made perfect,that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is,so are we in this world.*
Jesus was once a human being,He never allow anything to take him away from God, He stay put in His believe,so also as Christian, you must stay put and look towards the heavenly glory.
It is good to retain lost powers,but it is better still never to lose the power. Someone who retains his power is better than one who has lost his power and trying to regain it back. The person with the power will always aim higher to increase the power and would have gone far that the other still regaining his own.
If you do not want to lose your powers but instead you want the power to increase,these are what you must do to keep the fire burning in you;
Keep in touch continuously with the source. Who is your source? It is God, always make sure you are always getting to know of him day by day so that He will always refresh the power in you.
You must desire and thirst for him continuously.
Isaiah 44:3,
For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground:I will pour my spirit upon thy seed,and my blessing upon thy offsprings.
When you desire and thirst for God,all these He will do for you in the passage above,there are benefits in thirsting for God and desiring to know about Him. He will bless you to the extent that you will not be able to explain it. So desire and thirst for God.
You must increase the time you spend for Him always. If you have been praying for 30minutes,increase it to one hour and likewise praise to Him,He will send down His power on you when you do all these.
Forget past glories and aim higher each day. Do not allow past events tie you down but always look forward on how to increase the power He has given you by studying, meditating and reading His word. By doing this,you will not be occupied in your mind with past glories but looking forward to the future.
