This drawing I did in the course of the year 2008, I signed up for a drawing workshop. It was not for a long time, I had problems with the schedule and for that moment I was going to university.
Actually, it was like a technique or a way of practicing, to develop and perceive the proportion, the perspective of the drawing. Detail correctly the relationships between one object and another.
Then I show them the first thing I did. It consisted in making a grid in the image I was going to make, I decided what size would be the grid, trying to make all the squares of the same size. In addition, this depends of the size for the image (Height and Width) and the characteristics of the drawing.
After taking into account the size of the grid, I did it in the image I was going to draw and in the block (that grid must have the same dimension in the block as the drawing).
I proceeded to cut the squares I wanted (from the image) to paste it on the sheet of drawing, locating the that I cut on the sheet, I could say they are like a guide, also the grid. The following was ...
To draw! 😃
I hope you liked it 👍
By the way, I do not remember if this practice has a name or how it is known. If you know, share it!
