Full Steem Ahead

It has been a few lazy weeks and probably affected by the dipping crypto prices. Also a bit disheartened by the lack of initiative by the Malaysian government to provide a proper and conducive environment for cryptos unlike our neighbour, Singapore. But that aside, now its time to engage Gear 1.

With #steem-music we have just started a challenge called 'Steem-Music Challenge #1'. This will go alongside our fortnightly gig in Liberal Latte. This challenge will go for an entire season and will end with a pool of 80 SBD for the grand winner that will face off with other weekly winner in one grand finale.

We hope with this effort and with our initiaative to bring music to your doorstep, more people who were previously playing in their room or singing in the bathroom would now have a bit more courage to share their talent with the world and earn some dough in the process. We were quite heartened by the support shown by the music circle in the steem blockchain. We got good support from our friends in Indonesia, #teammalaysia, @classical-radio and our very own musicman in sndbox @heymattsokol.

With support like this there is no other way that to the moon.

1. Q & A Session with Colbert Lau and a representation from Zcoin on cryptocurrency and its future in Malaysia. Moderated by @perennial
2. A sharing session with @jassicania titled 'Overcoming Odds'
3. Musical performance by @zhusatriani and @edward-ong

In case you wonder who @edward-ong is, he is the cute boy who plays 'Baby Shark' and won himself a month's worth of Steem Power delegation.

#steem-cartoon will not be left out. After discussing with @sireh we realised that not many people who are new to steemit is aware of the personalities behind certain names such as:

and many more. So, to help the newbies and minnows to get to know their Steemians better we are starting one program called,

'Get to Know your #TeamMalaysia'

In this series, we will try to publish a weekly personality and our personal illustration of them. We will ask them what are their mission, vision, motivation and how they view this platform that we have all shared. In short, it will be an interview with a difference. Our very first victim is none other than our resident photographer @orangila.

Then we are planning a art and music fair that we tentatively set for the month of August 2018. That we shall be making further announcement. Stay tuned.
