In my previous post I mentioned that @brataka, @oldfool and I embarked on an exciting adventure in: THE FOREST, a game that has been around for a long time, but is still a game that is worth playing. I had been planning to do a series of gameplays playing it, but that never happened for several reasons. To play with @brataka, I gave him the game on Steam, but despite receiving it, he never installed it and had the intention of playing with me. The curious thing is that if it were not for him, I would not have played THE FOREST again.
One day @brataka, inspired and motivated by the gameplays he saw about the game, finally downloaded it, and to his surprise, he liked it a lot. We often underestimate some video games without playing them, we pigeonhole them as "a simple game" or "a game that is not to our liking", but when we try it we change our minds. The best thing is always to take risks, whether your PC does not seem to meet the game's requirements or the game takes a long time to download, you will never know if the game is worth it without trying it.
Our first day in THE FOREST was complete chaos, I died about 10 times for different reasons, from the cold to being attacked by cannibals. I don't remember the game being so complicated, the first time I played it I could survive for several days without dying, I guess the difficulty of the game really changes a lot in "Hard".
If there's one thing I've learned in the past 3 years, it's that playing with friends is always better, so sometimes it's important to invest a little in your friends. 3 minutes into our adventure, I decided to buy the game for @oldfool, who was next to us in the Discord, but could only listen to us play and I felt it wasn't fair, I knew that if he joined us everything would be much more fun. In this first chapter you won't be able to see him, but you will be able to hear him.
Our goal on our first day was to establish a home in a good area, an area that I had in mind from the very beginning. Unfortunately, we got lost horribly in this first chapter and we couldn't make much progress, but we had a lot of fun. We promised that next time we would find the abandoned yacht and build a fortress around the coast to keep ourselves safe thanks to the water (enemies die if they touch the water).
I must admit that @brataka always manages in all the games we play together, he is always someone who is informed before entering fully and is someone who knows how to play in general, so he didn't die too much.

En mi post anterior mencioné que @brataka, @oldfool y yo, nos embarcamos en una emocionante aventura en: THE FOREST, un juego que ya lleva mucho tiempo desde que fue lanzado, pero no deja de ser un juego que vale mucho la pena. Hace un tiempo que planeaba hacer una serie de gameplays jugándolo, pero eso nunca sucedió por varios motivos. Para jugar junto a @brataka, le regalé el juego por Steam, pero a pesar de que lo recibió, nunca lo instaló y tuvo la intención de jugar conmigo. Lo curioso es que si no fuese por él, no hubiese vuelto a jugar THE FOREST.
Un día @brataka, inspirado y motivado por los gameplays que vio acerca del juego, por fin lo descargó, y para su sorpresa, le gustó mucho. Muchas veces subestimamos a algunos videojuegos sin haberlos jugado, los encasillamos como "un juego simple" o "un juego que no es de nuestro agrado", pero al probarlo cambiamos de parecer. Lo mejor siempre es arriesgarse, ya sea que tu PC no parezca cumplir con los requisitos del juego o que el juego se demore mucho en su descarga, nunca sabrás si el juego vale la pena sin probarlo.
Nuestro primer día en THE FOREST fue un completo caos, morí unas 10 veces por diferentes motivos, desde el frío hasta ser atacado por caníbales. No recuerdo que el juego fuese tan complicado, la primera vez que lo jugué pude sobrevivir varios días sin morir, supongo que la dificultad del juego realmente cambia mucho en "Difícil".
Si algo he aprendido estos últimos 3 años, es que jugar acompañado siempre es mejor, así que a veces invertir un poco en tus amigos es importante. A los 3 minutos de haber empezado nuestra aventura, decidí comprarle el juego a @oldfool, ya que se encontraba junto a nosotros en el Discord, pero solo podía escucharnos jugar y sentí que no era justo, sabía que si él se nos unía todo iba a ser mucho más divertido. En este primer capítulo no podrán verlo a él, pero si escucharlo.
Nuestra meta en nuestro primer día era establecer un hogar en una buena zona, zona que ya tenía en mente desde el primer momento. Lastimosamente en este primer capítulo nos perdimos horriblemente, no pudimos avanzar demasiado, pero si nos divertimos bastante. Prometimos que para la siguiente encontraríamos el yate abandonado y construiríamos una fortaleza alrededor de la costa para mantenernos a salvo gracias al agua(Los enemigos se mueren si tocan el agua).
Debo de admitir que @brataka siempre se las arregla en todos los juegos que jugamos juntos, siempre suele ser alguien que se informa antes de entrar de lleno, y es alguien que sabe jugar en general, así que él no murió demasiado.
Espero que disfruten nuestro gameplay así como nosotros disfrutamos hacerlo. Tal vez en unos días escriba el post del segundo capítulo que estuvo mucho más divertido y gracioso ya que @oldfool esta vez se une a nuestra aventura. ¿Tú jugaste a este juego?
