Hi everyone! Today I’m back with a short post about Albion, a game that’s been with me throughout all of last month and most of this one.

These days, the guys and I have been playing Arenas, one of the many types of content Albion offers. It’s a slightly more competitive mode, kind of like League of Legends ranked matches, but way more chill within the world of Albion.

In Arena, if you lose, nothing happens, whereas in other zones you could lose all your gear — and trust me, you really don’t want that to happen.

What I’m best at is playing Support or Healer. I’m literally the classic healer in any game, fragile but capable of making any teammate practically immortal if they play it right.

When I play with a group of friends, we usually have a 65–70% win rate. We lose a few matches and win a lot. Sure, losing still sucks, but it’s easier to handle when you’re playing with people you know. When you’re teamed up with four randoms, everything gets more complicated (like in any game, though there are exceptions).

This time I’m showing you one of my recent matches in Silver League. It might sound like a low rank, but at that level you can already run into some really strong teams, with broken builds and great synergy. It’s pretty common to see players using setups designed to wipe out Healers, since without healing, anyone becomes useless.

In this short match, I thought all was lost. My team seemed to have good damage, but they kept running away from my heals or attacking the wrong targets. More than once they left me alone and I had to run back to our base. It wasn’t hard, but it was definitely frustrating. I hate when people enter Arena with troll builds or no idea what to do, and they don’t even sync their attacks. That said, I also have to admit I didn’t play at 100%. As you’ll see in the match, I made some mistakes too.

Arena is all about controlling three crystals, or bases, so to speak. The team that holds more bases for longer gets more points. If you lose a base, you start losing points over time. And if you lose all of them and don’t get them back, it’s a guaranteed loss.

¡Hola a todos! Hoy vuelvo con un pequeño post sobre Albion, un juego que me ha acompañado durante todo el mes pasado y gran parte de este.

Estos días los muchachos y yo hemos estado jugando Arenas, uno de los tantos contenidos que Albion ofrece. Es un modo un poco más competitivo, algo así como las rankeds de League of Legends, pero mucho más relajado dentro del mundo de Albion.

En la Arena si pierdes no pasa nada, mientras que en otras zonas podrías perder todo tu equipamiento, y créeme, no quieres que eso te pase.

Lo que mejor se me da es jugar como Support o Healer. Literalmente soy el típico healer de cualquier juego, frágil, pero capaz de hacer que cualquier compañero sea prácticamente inmortal si hace las cosas bien.

Cuando juego con un grupo de amigos solemos tener un winrate del 65-70%. Perdemos pocas partidas y ganamos muchas. Eso sí, perder duele menos cuando vas con gente conocida, pero cuando el equipo es de cuatro randoms todo se complica (Como en cualquier juego, aunque hay excepciones).

En esta ocasión te muestro una de mis partidas recientes en liga de Plata. Sonará como una liga baja, pero ya en ese nivel te puedes encontrar con equipos muy fuertes, con builds rotísimas y buena sinergia. Es bastante común ver gente con builds diseñadas para borrar Healers, porque sin curaciones cualquiera se vuelve inútil.

En esta partida corta vi todo perdido. Mi equipo parecía tener mucho daño, pero corrían de mis curas o simplemente atacaban al objetivo equivocado. Más de una vez me dejaron solo y tuve que huir hasta nuestra base. No fue difícil, pero sí bastante frustrante. Odio cuando la gente entra a la Arena con builds troll o sin saber qué hacer, y ni siquiera sincronizan sus ataques. Aunque también debo admitir que yo tampoco jugué al 100%. Como verás en la partida también cometí errores.

La Arena se basa en controlar tres cristales o bases por así decirlo. El equipo que mantenga más bases durante más tiempo acumulará más puntos. Si pierdes una base, comienzas a perder puntos constantemente. Y si pierdes todas y no las recuperas la derrota es segura.
