I played 3 matches today and lost all 3, and honestly it was frustrating. The new team I’m using hasn’t clicked yet. The players don’t understand each other, passes are misfiring, runs are late, defense is all over the place. You guys know how it is when you build a new squad — first few games always feel like you’re playing with strangers. We’ll get there, but today was just not our day.
And Konami changed things up too. You remember how we used to wait for POTW every Thursday? Now they’ve switched it to Player of the Day. Anytime there’s a World Cup match or any big international game, they drop the best player from each team that same day. So instead of one big update weekly, we’re getting small updates almost every day. If you guys don’t log in daily you’ll miss some good cards.
That’s why I was grinding the event matches. Win or lose, the POTD cards come out daily now based on real matches. I took 3 Ls but at least I understand the system now. New team + new update style = more pressure to play daily. We’ll bounce back though. Next time we run these matches together and fix the team chemistry.
