It can't rise to mainstream numbers but it probably also doesn't need or want that many. IMO it's better for the platform to end up with 100k "cultists" than 225 million "look at my ass"-type-users. The value of mainstream platforms rises with the numbers of users because those serve as an audience for the advertising mega-system embedded in the platforms. Would the sheer numbers of users of any quality on Hive/Steem affect the coin price in a positive way when there's no advertising availability?
