I liked your post, i believe that Hive and Steemit rely to much on content creation. It won't rise to main stream numbers as it's currently used, especially with content Nazis. People want something as simple a link and comment, FB, Twitter etc. you don't content create, you get content from other places and drop it in the simple ass box with a link to the content. Hive and Steemit is better than owning your own .com. Why spend money on a web domain name etc and the hassle of maintaining it, when I can create content on Hive than post it on FB and Twitter, if you want a small click of intelligent intellectuals playing games like I'm more Punk Rock than you will have a small underground core of people or like you said cultists, If Hive became mainstream overnight, most of the original people would piss and moan about people and their shitty content when mainstream users storm in and don't give a flip about content and want to post simple shit like look at my dinner, look at my ass, so and so is a Biatch! If content creation is the main driver than you need to market it as the next wordpress, a place to create content and run a blog with ease, Does Hive really want to be a mainstream platform?
