My perfect living space is mainly a bed, a desk, a thing to throw clothes in, a pc, a microwave, 2 plates, 2 sets of cutlery and a glass.

Beyond that, I guess there might be niknaks like a lamp for the desk etc but those are conveniences. The same goes for a washing machine and portable clotheslines.

I am perfectly fine living just with the first things mentioned and can put a * on the bed just because that is not an absolute requirement either.

For the most part I have always just lived like that but all the niknaks fucked up my paddywack. Over time I accumulated more desks, counters, pots, pans, containers, plates, so many damn plates.

None of these work to my strengths. If I have man plates, I will use many plates and then eventually wash them with my tears from having piled up so many plates.

If I have many surfaces I will use many surfaces and eventually not know what the surface was.

In my case more than half the things I own serve no purpose, aside from making think I own things and ooh look I can put things in this drawer here, and here, and oh this is empty what can I put in here, oh wait do I need a couch for people to come and irritate me and use up all my coffee mugs which I have to wash again. If no one used them then I don't need to wash them and if I only owned 1 mug then I can't be giving people coffee, and if I did not have a damn couch no one could sit on them.

So I don't have a couch. I have 1 desk chair and it is mine, I am not sharing it.

Needless to say even with me not buying things generally unless it has utility I still gather a lot of rubbish. Containers for one things, I keep them and use them for many stuff, my protein containers are big ones so they are good for use as buckets when you wash the floors and such, even as mini dustbins. But how many dustbins and buckets do I need? I am looking at 3 containers stacked now that serve no purpose aside from giving Johnny Longlegs a nice home.

Oh during the hustle and bustle, a person does not notice these things but now that I am getting rid of everything aside from my initial list and including the * , I am noticing that I do truly own a lot of unnecessary things.

My ideal living space feels empty and hopefully stays empty and that is the way I would like to learn to keep it.
