It is kinda sucky when your brain seems to be in slow mo mode,
but then it is kinda cool when all the pieces start connecting.
This week was some more fiddling with Nginx and just general server permission configuration and really it all still felt like "WTF" I just don't get this.
Now it seems like a haze has lifted and I can see the map a lot more clearly.
That is usually the problem when you are dealing with many seemingly unrelated components.
It is also evident in daily things, how people seem to just be unable to solve basic issues.
Maybe everyone is just fucking around in a haze I think. More so for some than others. Frankly I think my customers basically crawl out of their holes completely blind.
It seems with so many services, and companies eager to please that as a consumer or helpless little customer people tend to avoid thinking beyond what they want.
Now I guess it is my good fortune, I get to deliver a solution... frankly fuck that. Some solutions are just not worth the effort, it is tedious and pointless and I will refuse to make a sale if I find it bothersome.
Let someone else deal with it. Mostly that falls under something a person could just have done themselves, it is bothersome to waste even a minute entertaining questions for things someone could just figure out.
That is why I think retail is such a nice industry or basic product sales. People take the thing they want and they exit left.

Anyway, knowing how much someone might hate me for asking, being in slow mo mode will require me to ask regardless and then they can go write a blog post about how much I irritated them. Boowoowoo.
