I was surprised to see that Fenerbahce signed Vedat Muriqi for 3.5 million euros plus 2 players. As a big fan and a keen watcher of the Turkish super league, I feel like Vedat is not that good. At least not at Fenerbahce's level of play.
While these ideas boggling my mind, I decided to take a closer look at his stats. I remember Vedat from the time Giresunspor transferred him for free. Anyway here is the table showing career stats:

As a striker, he played 80 games at the super league level and only scored 22 goals and made 8 assists. Some people might say this is low due to the fact that he used to play for Rizespor. However, he also played for Giresunspor and Genclerbirligi, teams that aim for mid table in the first league and his performance is somewhat similar.
Overall in 73 games, he scored 29 goals and made almost identical number of assists.
These stats can be conceiving so it makes more sense to take a look at the most recent season which made the jump for him.

These numbers kind of show that why Fenerbahce paid 3.5 million euros (probably more with players going to join rizespor) for him.
