The first 3 weeks of this platform are now passed, and there are already a whopping 1017 users. Of which 575 have staked over 12 million tokens. Sure this is not yet enough for this economy to be sustainable at current prices of SPORTS, but it sure is a great start. Once a thousand people have staked, I would start to use the word "promising". I will keep on staking as long as possible and necessary, as I am here for the long haul. A price drop does not concern me one bit. As long as the user base keeps growing steadily, this could be very big!
The price of 1 SPORTS token is between 0.005 and 0.006 Steem, Which is quite steady. The dollar value has dropped a bit because it follows the Steem price. But what is more important is the volume. That has doubled once again since my last update, to around 5000 Steem per day. A very nice volume compared to other tokens on Steem-Engine. It shows the potential of this platform is huge.
What I like most about the platform is the interaction. Finally, we see posts that get commented on genuinly. The average post on Sportstalk generates way more interaction than a normal one on the Steem blockchain. That means that the people are finally talking about what they want to talk and give their opinion on. This, is for me the biggest indicator that this place is going to thrive.
And for what it's worth, no flag wars yet! Let's hope it stays that way. Sports is passion, but everyone is entitled to his or hers opinion, so let's keep it that way. Like true sportsmanship is like!
