It sure would be practical to have those around 😁. But nooo, instead we have to find another way to keep the land moist. Something we look at the grass and it is so dry that you are afraid to walk on it and create a fire 🔥. It is not the case for me at thw moment, but I can see those yellowosh patches slowly making their way.
As you can see in the drawing with a little imagination, when water touches the ground, it has to fight it way through all the different contours and holes before it can equally feed the land.
The basic sketch was done using a 4h pencil and I added some details and shadows using darker pencils. I want all the way to 10b. Once it was done, I gave the final touches using watercolors.
