Hello everyone, today I wanted to make a quick sketch and do some watercolors... It did not turn out great, actually it was an epic fail!! When I did the sketch, right away I was not happy with the result. I wanted to practice hair and maybe go for an afro like type style, but when I was looking at it, I just couldn't get myself to like it. So I thought that maybe adding some watercolors could help to enhance it a little bit.... It made it worse. I forgot to change the water that I use for my brushes, took me too long to realize, try to continue to finish up with that dirty water and the result is just horrible :
So up into the corner of shame it goes. When I looked at the pile of old fails stacking up, just laying there like on top of a box, I thought why not to try to fix it up using some digital brushes...and then throw into the corner shame :-). So I did, granted the result is not perfect, but it does look better. Since it is not a total lost, I was able to share it today without having to draw a new one, so that's cool.
To cover it up, I took a picture, and then went over it using the Autodesk Sketch software. Using different brushes, mostly air brushing (which is really not the real thing, but still), I tried to mask and readjust as much as I possibly could... without spending an eternity on it.
