Ahah, I found another piece of chalk lying around. A reddish one too 😀. It was stting around in my daughter's drawers. We actually draw alot together, we almost do it on a daily base. I have to say that my best drawings always come out when I'm drawing with her. If not, I try to put out ideas for an 'eventual session' or turns out ok, it depends. She is very young but very talented. We give each others tumbs up all the time, this is our way to stay motivated. Hopefully, when she will be older, it will come out handy, but mostly a trace of nice memories.
So as we were talking while getting ready, I was telling her that I was going to get more chalks, some colored one to see what it does. That is when she explains that she has a few that she got from ... blab bla bla ...at extreme speed.., and came back telling me that she actually only had one left.
Good enough for me as I thanked her while I grabbed that tiny little piece of chalk. I can barely hold it, but I still have a nice angle with it. So I went to do this portrait of an imaginary women. I have to mentionned that my daughter did find more colored chalk....once we were done 😄. Good for another time.
So this was done using many layers of those two chalk, correcting and ajusting at every layers to eventually get this results. At the very end, I added a tiny little thing of charcoal for some outlines.
