For my birthday, I wanted elsewhere. To leave, or rather to leave, in Agadir. But as we watched at the last moment, the prices were way too high. So, I looked in what other Cities to go to. We opted for Marrakech at first .
After wanting to see the aurora borealis again, a furious desire for warmth and good weather appeared. Fingers crossed very hard to have good weather during these 4 days in it.

لعيد ميلادي، أردت في مكان آخر. أن تغادر، أو بالأحرى أن تغادر، في المناطق الثلجية. ولكن كما شاهدنا في اللحظة الأخيرة، كانت الأسعار عالية جدا.لذلك، نظرت في ما مدية آخرى للذهاب إلىيها. اخترنا مراكش .
بعد الرغبة في رؤية الشفق القطبي مرة أخرى، ظهرت رغبة غاضبة للدفء والطقس الجيد. عبرت الأصابع بشدة من أجل الحصول على الطقس الجيد خلال هذه الأيام 4 في المغرب.

Here is Marrakech!
We recover our Dacia Sandéro, who will be our mount for these 4 days.
استرجعنا سيارتنا التي ستكون وسيلة تنقلنا في هته الأربع أيام.
In Other places, in December, there are not many flowers ... not at all. Here, there are many and all colors, it's so nice!
في الأماكن الأخرى،في دجنبر ، لا تتواجد الزهور بكثرة...ليس الكل. هنا العديد منها و مختلفة الألوان
We have lunch late at the Tameslohte Hostel , about 15 minutes from the city center. A very good address and a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by coconut trees.
لدينا الغداء في وقت متأخر في نزل تامزلوهت ، على بعد حوالي 15 دقيقة من وسط المدينة. عنوان جيد جدا وحمام سباحة جميل تحيط بها أشجار جوز الهند.
And what do you find among the branches? olives of course!

On the road to the High Atlas Mountains
عل الطريق إلى جبال الأطلس الكبير
The day after our arrival, we take the road to go to Imlil .The weather is cloudy, but we can already see the snowy mountains of the High Atlas .
بعد يوم من وصولنا، نأخذ الطريق للذهاب إلى إمليل . الطقس غائم، ولكن يمكننا أن نرى بالفعل الجبال الثلجية من الأطلس الكبير .
We go through pretty villages, and discover places with greenery.
نذهب من خلال القرى الجميلة، واكتشاف الأماكن مع المساحات الخضراء.
The more we progress, the more we climb, and pass more and more perched villages. The weather is stormy, there is wind and it gets colder and colder.
وكلما تقدمنا، كلما تسلقنا أكثر، ونمر أكثر فأكثر في قرى متناثرة. الطقس عاصف، وهناك ريح ويحصل على برودة وبرودة.
At the turn of a bend, we cross the road of 4 camels, funny and proud animals. A nice meeting.

When the clouds clear a little, we can see the snowy mountains to which we are going.

Imlil, its beautiful valley and its surroundings

Then we enter the valley that leads to Imlil. A small river flows and meanders along the winding road.
ثم ندخل الوادي الذي يؤدي إلى إمليل. نهر صغير يتدفق ويتعثر على طول الطريق المتعرج.
After experiencing a shower of hail, the Toubkal emerges at times. We will not do the trek this time, we will come back when there is less snow.
بعد أن شهدت دشا من البرد، يظهر توبكال في بعض الأحيان. ونحن لن تفعل هذه المرة هذه المرة، وسوف نعود عندما يكون هناك الثلوج أقل.
We cross Imlil, we climb above the village, by a winding road. The snow begins to fall, more and more strong. What a strange paradox: it snows on cacti!
نعبر إمليل، ونحن تسلق فوق القرية، طريق متعرج. الثلج يبدأ في الانخفاض، أكثر وأكثر قوية. ما مفارقة غريبة: الثلج على الصبار!
We continue to get closer to the summit, but the road is blocked, too much snow. Here, the wind is really strong, we are blinded by the flakes and what a cold!
ونحن نواصل الاقتراب من القمة، ولكن الطريق هو عرقلة، والكثير من الثلوج. هنا، والرياح قوية حقا، ونحن أعمى من رقائق وما البرد!
We take refuge in the car and wait for it to calm down. To go out to make new photos.

On the way back

On the way back, we hitch a couple of Germans who had just made the Toubkal and who joined Marrakech. Good luck for them, after we were well traveled, we went back there too.
في الطريق إلى الوراء، نحن نتعثر مع بعض الألمان الذين جعلوا للتو توبكال والذين انضموا إلى مراكش. حظا سعيدا لهم، بعد أن كنا قد سافرت جيدا، عدنا هناك أيضا.
In Imlil, we bought mandarins: a pure treat! It was our lunch besides ...
في إمليل، اشترينا اليوسفي: علاج نقية! كان الغداء لدينا إلى جانب ...
Then, back in Marrakech, we went shopping at the Carrefour, in front of the gardens.
Since we only bought a few tangerines from Imlil (and we ate them all), we stopped buying some at a roadside vendor. And for really really cheap.
ثم، في مراكش، ذهبنا للتسوق في كارفور، أمام الحدائق.
وبما أننا اشترينا فقط عدد قليل من اليوسفي من إمليل (وأكلنا كل منهم)، توقفنا عن شراء بعض على بائع على جانب الطريق. و حقا رخيصة حقا.
