Greetings, everyone!
During the election, people have their choices of candidates to vote for. They know who they want their leader to be or their governor to be. Even the blind man knows who to vote for; it's just to lead them to the right place for them to cast their vote, and people who don't respect themselves might take advantage of their vulnerability to vote for their own choices instead of their own choices.
People should always go for their choices despite the fact that the candidate might look like the right person, but we don't know the intent of their heart concerning our Nation or State, but in all God will pass through them and do His will.
I remembered my first time casting a vote in my ward, my first experience. I went with my pastor and we had in mind the candidate we should vote for. While I was standing right with my pastor, someone from nowhere came to me and told me to vote for Tinubu, my Pastor told me never to mind him but to concentrate on what I was doing. I voted for my choice.
A lot of old men and women came around, and people against other opponents led them to vote for their opponents. Some old people who knew what they wanted stood their ground and voted for whom they wanted to vote for.
It's better to tell people who they should vote for, I mean, the right candidate, not any person who will come into authority and bring down the world of Nigeria. We don't need this kind.
Election rigging is normal; it happens most of the time. Most of the time, it involves human blood being shared just to sit on the throne. But we have done our best to cast our vote and make sure that our vote counts for the right person to rule over us. It could be at the State level or National level, but the majority prefer the best, and they will always go for the best.
I encourage everyone to vote for the right kind of person who will lead us well, lead us out of shame, out of corruption, out of bloodshed, and out of economic hardship, and create new opportunities for our citizens to enjoy.
I learned this while I was in school; "Government of the people, by the people, and for the people." This expression came from Abraham Lincoln.
We should do the right thing, so we get the right results.
