Greetings, everyone!
I so much like the topic of this contest, and I have been having difficulties in maintaining female relationships because of jealousy and breaking boundaries. I have successfully kept one from my secondary school till now, we are still friends, and even when she got married to her husband, that friendship is still there, it's still standing, supporting,g and praying for each other.
There's a long-standing belief that genuine female friendships are rare to find or difficult to sustain. Has this influenced the way you approach or interact with other women in your space? Are there aspects of female friendships that you have come to appreciate the most, and how have you also navigated the challenges that come with building something intentional with females?
However, I found it difficult now to establish new female relationships because of my past experiences I had with gender, and the experience was so extreme that the other party tried to poison my food. I was so sensitive to know and to set boundaries for myself.
By the Grace of God, I have started building healthy female relationships with the mindset of understanding each other, supporting, praying, celebrating others without competition, and extending forgiveness when necessary.
In a relationship with my gender, mutual understanding must be fostered. And another thing I love so much in this kind of relationship is the willingness to grow, learn, unlearn, and relearn. Setting healthy competition that will challenge others to grow faster towards achieving their goals in life.
I don't like it when a friend wants to bring down another friend. There must be something significant in the life of your friend that piques your interest in them, that you want to see that potential being developed and be seen by others, with just your little effort in support.
A female friend must support another friend with good intentions and not with bad intentions. A friend must be a ladder to a friend to grow not for jealousy and challenges. Friendship shouldn't be a platform for challenges but to offer solutions.
